Saloon Book is a book that you can find in the basement of the saloon on Tenerife Island. It teaches the player about finding treasure in the ground using the Shovel.

Any treasure hunter worth his salt knows how to look for signs.
A rudimentary exercise for any successful hunter is to look at the ground for discolorations.
If you see a spot on the ground that looks slightly different than the surrounding area...
...it's a good idea to stop for a moment and plunge your shovel into the earth.
