Treasure Adventure Game
Treasure Adventure Game (also called TAG for short) is an indie game, created by Robit Studios and released in 2011 as a free-to-play game. It is a two-dimensional side-scrolling platformer/action game. The game was inspired by 8-bit and 16-bit games of the 1990s, it has a pixelated artstyle and original chiptune music. The game's soundtrack, composed by Robert Ellis, consists of 31 tracks, and is available for purchase on Bandcamp. The game takes place in an open world, with the main map being over 120 million pixels in size.
Story
The game follows the story of an unnamed protagonist. In the Intro Sequence, the young protagonist is on an exploration trip with his father Gagwin, and the father's friend, Baggus. The two friends are explorers and have collected 12 legendary artifacts, and now are trying to find a temple that holds an ancient secret. After the intro, the protagonist wakes up in Grandma Ethor's house and is given an Unknown Map and a
Boat. The protagonist is also now missing one of his hands, and has a hook instead. The protagonist is then tasked with finding the truth about his past and discovering his true calling.
