Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
What am I saying?
[Museum Guy 2] > say 14
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
Look at you! You don't even have the three essentials of adventuring.
[Museum Guy 2] > say 15
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
...
[Museum Guy 2] > say 16
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
You don't know what the three essentials of adventuring are?
[Museum Guy 2] > say 17
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
Hahahaha, that's precisely why you won't get anywhere without my help.
[Museum Guy 2] > say 18
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
I just happen to have the first essential of adventuring in the basement here in the museum.
[Museum Guy 2] > say 19
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
If you go down and get it, it's yours.
[Museum Guy 2] > say 20
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
The elevator in the back room will take you down.
[Museum Guy 2] > say 21
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
Be careful. I have an intricate security system in place.
[Museum Guy 2] > say 22
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
Just watch your step and you should be fine.
[Museum Guy 2] > say 23
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
Once you have the first essential of adventuring I'll tell you where to find the rest.
[Museum Guy 2] > say 24
(?)
(!)

If the player talks to him again

Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
Baggus: I happen to have the first essential of adventuring in the basement here in the museum.
[Museum Guy 3] > say 1
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
If you go down and get it, it's yours.
[Museum Guy 3] > say 2
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
The elevator in the back room will take you down.
[Museum Guy 3] > say 3
(?)
(!)

After returning from the basement with the Paper Hat

Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
Baggus: I see you retrieved the first essential of adventuring...
[Museum Guy 4] > say 1
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
... a hat!
[Museum Guy 4] > say 2
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
Without a hat no treasure hunter can be taken seriously.
[Museum Guy 4] > say 3
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
That hat used to belong to a good friend of mine.
[Museum Guy 4] > say 4
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
I have a feeling you'll do him proud...
[Museum Guy 4] > say 5
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
...
[Museum Guy 4] > say 6
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
What the? Hey, where did that bird come from?
[Museum Guy 4] > say 7
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
...
[Museum Guy 4] > say 8
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
He was trapped in the basement? That's strange...
[Museum Guy 4] > say 9
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
Well, please be sure to take him with you when you leave. He looks dirty.
[Museum Guy 4] > say 10
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
Now what was I saying?
[Museum Guy 4] > say 11
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
Oh yes! You still need two more essentials of adventuring.
[Museum Guy 4] > say 12
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
The last two essentials are...
[Museum Guy 4] > say 13
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
...a compass and a sail.
[Museum Guy 4] > say 14
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
A compass will allow you to effectively use charts and locate treasure.
[Museum Guy 4] > say 15
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
And you'll need a sail for your boat to travel long distances through rough waters.
[Museum Guy 4] > say 16
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
Unfortunately, I don't have either of those items here.
[Museum Guy 4] > say 17
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
But they are not entirely uncommon. With a little ingenuity I'm sure you can find them.
[Museum Guy 4] > say 18
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
When you get both items return here and I'll teach you how to be a great treasure hunter.
[Museum Guy 4] > say 19
(?)
(!)

If the player talks to him again

Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
Baggus: I assure you the basement of the museum is NOT a dangerous cursed temple...
[Museum Guy 5] > say 1
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
I'm just worried about... burglars... you know...
[Museum Guy 5] > say 2
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
Anyway... you still need two more essentials of adventuring.
[Museum Guy 5] > say 3
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
The last two essentials are a compass and a sail.
[Museum Guy 5] > say 4
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
When you find them return to me and I'll teach you how to travel to the ends of the earth...
[Museum Guy 5] > say 5
(?)
(!)
Baggus Dialogue Icon.png
...follow maps and search for hidden treasures.
[Museum Guy 5] > say 6
(?)
(!)

After acquiring the first treasure

Baggus: Wow, you really did it. You found the first treasure.

You have this adventuring thing down.

I shouldn't be surprised considering you're my old partner's kid.

...

... I know I should have told you sooner...

It was you and your father who helped me find the 12 treasures...

...and discover this temple ten years ago.

But, when we entered the final chamber something went terribly wrong.

A huge release of energy... an explosion... scattered all the treasures we had found.

You lost your arm, and apparently your memory, and your father disappeared altogether.

I never thought the legends were all true... that the temple actually had any magical power.

After the chaos was over, I found you, unconsious... but your father was nowhere to be found.

I didn't know the first thing about caring for a young child so I brought you to the nearest inhabited island.

I left you on that old couple's doorstep as they looked to be kind and wise.

And I left you a map so that you would find your way back here when the time was right.

I've kept an eye on you these past ten years as well...

That brings me to the real reason why I built this museum and why I need to you find the 12 ancient treasures.

Your father may still be alive somewhere deep in the temple!

Every treasure that you collect will allow us to go deeper down into the temple.

See for yourself. Maybe you'll find something useful down there.

I lost all my equipment, maps and notes when that explosion happened.

I'm sure a lot of it is still down there somewhere.

After finding the Lockpick Kit

Baggus: Look at that. You found my old lock-pick kit!

That will be very helpful to you as a treasure hunter.

Many doors and chests can be unlocked with a good lock-pick kit and a little know-how.

Just make sure you keep a good supply of lock-picks with you. They can only be used once.

Well... it's up to you now, kid. I've given you everything you need to find the rest of the ancient treasures.

I don't have any more leads... You'll have to get out there and find them yourself.

Make sure to ask everyone you see for any clues.

And stop back here if you find any more treasures. There are probably more useful items locked away in the temple.

Good luck!

After returning to the museum

Baggus: I've done all I can to get your started on your adventure.

I don't have any more leads for treasures... You'll have to get out there and find them yourself.

Remember, when you collect more treasures come back here and explore the temple.

Every treasure unlocks a column and will allow you to explore deeper into the temple.

There's bound to be all kinds of treasures down there and maybe you'll even find your father!

After finding all treasures

Baggus: You actually did it! You found all 12 treasures!

Now the final treasure room in the temple is unlocked.

Surely your father is down there somewhere as well.

This is your destiny, my boy!

Make your way through the temple and finish your adventure!
