Editing Dive Clip

The '''Dive Clip''' is a glitch that allows you to fall through the ground using the {{IconLink|Dive Helmet}}.

== Instructions ==
To execute a Dive Clip do the following steps:

# Go in water near a shore
# Jump towards the shore
# Before landing on the ground, press DOWN and ACTION to [[dive]].
# Now you should be inside of a wall underwater, When you are inside a wall, the controls are reversed; hold RIGHT to go left, hold LEFT to go right, hold JUMP to go downwards, and don't hold anything to float up.
#* It is also possible to overshoot the wall collision in some places; then, you may be softlocked, and forced to exit to the title screen.
# Float all the way up. You will be able to stand on top of the wall.
# You can then hold JUMP to get out of the underwater map.
# At this point you should be inside of the ground on the overworld. Two things may happen:
#* If you are at a shore near sea level, you will clip out of the ground. 
#* If you were above a shore high enough above sea level, you will fall through the ground, and will keep falling forever. The compass will stop at -999 but in reality you will still be falling. While you're falling, you can still activate level load triggers at the edges of the overworld levels, and return to normal.

== Potential ==
The Dive Clip can be potentially used for sequence breaks in the game. However, because the {{IconLink|Dive Helmet}} is one of the last [[gear items]] you get in the game, it might not be very useful during [[speedruns]].
